2.5.3 Water supply project construction in residential areas
The laying forms of outdoor water supply pipes are divided into underground and overhead, of which underground laying is the majority. There are two kinds of commonly used pipes: steel pipe and water supply cast iron pipe, among which socket-type (high pressure) water supply cast iron pipe is the majority.
The interface filler of socket-type water supply cast iron pipe is usually two layers:
(1) White hemp, oil hemp, asbestos rope and apron can be used for production water supply on the first floor, and white hemp or apron is generally used for domestic water supply.
(2) The second layer is made of asbestos cement, self-stressing cement mortar and green lead. Most of them use asbestos cement, and green lead is expensive and toxic. Pull a thin rope on each side of the nail, and sprinkle lime along the rope as the sideline of trenching.
(3) The form of groove: it is usually divided into straight groove, trapezoidal groove and mixing groove.
(4) Trench excavation: mechanical or manual excavation is adopted, and the excavated soil is placed on one side of the trench, which is more than 0.5 m away from the trench.
(5) Trench bottom treatment: the trench bottom should be smooth, and the slope and direction should meet the design requirements and be solid; Loose soil should be compacted, 200 rammers should be dug at the bottom of gravel ditch, and the soil should be backfilled and compacted.
2) Pipeline laying
Before laying the pipeline, check the coordinates of the trench and the elevation of the trench bottom according to the construction drawing, and then lay the pipeline.
(1) Check the pipeline: the pipeline shall meet the design requirements and be free from defects such as cracks and sand holes. The inspection site should be in the pipe yard.
(2) Cleaning the socket: The asphalt paint painted on the inner and outer surfaces of the water supply socket cast iron pipe before leaving the factory affects the interface quality, and the asphalt inside and outside the socket should be removed. Its method is generally to burn with a blowtorch or oxyacetylene cutting gun, and then remove dust with a wire brush and cotton yarn.
(3) Pipe transportation and pipe unloading: transport the pipes with qualified inspection and clean sockets to the construction site by car (large-diameter cast iron pipes for water supply need 3t truck crane), and then unload them one by one at the ditch side so that the sockets face the direction of incoming water.
(4) Pipe laying and piping: put the pipes placed beside the ditch at the bottom of the ditch one by one by crane (or manually); Insert the socket into the socket, generally not to the end, leaving a gap of 3 ~ 5 mm; Then adjust the annular gap of the socket with three wedge irons to make it uniform.
