Shanghai University School of Business Administration is the largest college in Shanghai University. It has six first-level disciplines, namely, theoretical economics, applied economics, management science and engineering, business administration, public administration, library and information, and file management, and has interdisciplinary comprehensive advantages. At present, there are 1 doctoral programs in first-level disciplines, 4 master programs in first-level disciplines, 5 master programs in two disciplines, and 0/5 undergraduate programs.

Faculty setup: The college has seven departments, namely, Economics Department, Finance Department, Business Administration Department, Management Science and Engineering Department, Accounting Department, Information Management Department and Public Administration Department, with a relatively complete discipline structure.

Characteristics of running a school: adhere to the principle that teaching and scientific research serve economic construction and social development, train students to master a solid theoretical foundation of economic management and modern business technology, and have good foreign language and computer application skills to meet the needs of economic and social modernization in Shanghai and the whole country. Graduates are welcomed by all kinds of enterprises, especially foreign-funded enterprises. The employment rate of students in our college has been stable at an average of over 98%. The main employment fields of students are banks, insurance companies, securities companies, large and medium-sized industrial and commercial enterprises, accounting firms, real estate companies and high-tech investment and development enterprises.
