Country Love is a TV series jointly produced by the Film and Television Department of CCTV Literature and Art Center, Benshan Film and Television Art Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhuangjiayuan Culture Communication Co., Ltd., Beijing Taihe An Baili Media Advertising Co., Ltd. and Jilin TV Station, jointly produced by the Film and Television Center of China Television Artists Association and Beijing Zhuangjiayuan Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and honored by the State Family Planning Commission, Tieling Municipal Committee and Tieling Municipal People's Government.

Directed by Zhang Huizhong and starring Wang Yabin, He Shufeng, Yu Yuexian and Wang Xiaobao, the play focuses on the friendship between Zhao Benshan and Fan Wei. It's the first in the series "Country Love".

Based on the love life of Xie Yongqiang, a college student, and Wang Xiaomeng, a rural young woman, the play created a number of vivid rural youth images with the flavor of the new era. Through the love life and entrepreneurial stories of several young people, this paper shows us a picture of the love life of contemporary rural youth from many angles, with joy and humor in ease and hope and strength in twists and turns.

The play premiered on CCTV 1 on September 30th, 2006.
