China Ji Liang University (CJLU) is the only undergraduate college named after metrology. Located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, it is the only undergraduate college specializing in quality supervision, inspection and quarantine in China.
It has been selected as the leading unit of the "Belt and Road" standardized education and research university alliance by the Ministry of Education, "New Engineering Research and Practice Project" and the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program.
China Metrology University traces its roots to Hangzhou Metrology Institute founded by the State Administration of Metrology 1978. 1983 was transformed into Hangzhou Institute of Metrology and Testing; 1984 changed to Hangzhou Metrology Institute; 1985 was upgraded to Ji Liang University in China with the approval of the Ministry of Education; 20 16 was renamed China Ji Liang University.
