In fact, it is not easy for everyone to choose the postgraduate entrance examination. When your friend is faced with an important choice to work abroad, you choose a very difficult road. It takes a lot of courage, and in the process of preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, at first you will find that he is very different from other exams in the college entrance examination, which is also my biggest feeling in the early stage of preparing for the exam. The college entrance examination is accompanied by teachers, but the process of postgraduate entrance examination depends entirely on ourselves. Let's start by introducing my basic situation, and don't talk nonsense. I applied for grassland science major in West China Agricultural University. Because my undergraduate course is also from West China Agricultural University, I chose to stay in our school directly when I took the postgraduate entrance examination, and I also want to continue my doctoral studies in our school and choose to teach in colleges and universities in the future, so the postgraduate entrance examination is my only way. At that time, the initial score of the postgraduate entrance examination was 370, which was quite satisfactory for me as an ordinary undergraduate. In fact, there have been countless times of self-denial and self-doubt before deciding to take the postgraduate entrance examination, because the undergraduate stage is not the so-called schoolmaster. I only got a scholarship for one year and three years during my four-year study. Now I'd like to share with you the small methods I explored in my postgraduate entrance examination, but they may not be suitable for you, for reference only!
I scored 370 points in the initial test, 65 points in politics, 58 points in English, 365,438+04 points in mathematics, 65,438+042 points in plant physiology and biochemistry, 465,438+005 points.
I. Professional introduction
It can be said that grassland science is a major that accompanies the history of human existence. Before the birth of human civilization, it flourished in the "coming and going with the four seasons" on the earth, and later became a natural resource for nomadic people to survive, and it continues to this day. Grassland science is an interdisciplinary subject according to its disciplinary attributes. With the goal of herbivore forage production, urban greening and ecological management, modern biotechnology is used to cultivate new varieties of grass seeds and study high-quality and high-yield grassland.
To a certain extent, grass industry is an important industry to ensure national ecological security, food safety and improve urban and rural living standards. With the development of economy and the improvement of technical level, agriculture has entered a new period of development, and the proportion of grass in agriculture will become larger and larger. Grass industry plays an important role in the adjustment of agricultural structure, the improvement of ecological environment in the west, the greening and beautification of cities and the improvement of environmental quality, and has broad prospects in the future national economic construction.
Grassland science, formerly known as grassland science, belongs to the category of animal husbandry. After several generations of efforts, it has developed from a part of the original animal husbandry to a first-class discipline under the agricultural category. Grassland science mainly cultivates talents with specialties such as turfgrass science, prataculture science, dendrology, turf establishment and management of sports ground, turf establishment and management of golf course, lawn and pasture diseases and insect pests, and garden green space planning. Grassland science has another major feature, which is particularly practical. In order to cultivate students' comprehensive ability, the school will offer some courses such as comprehensive practice and outdoor practice to better adapt to social development. From the beginning of 2 1 century, the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the idea of "coordinating the systematic management of landscape forest, field, lake and grass", emphasizing that "grass" is an important part of "the life of landscape forest, field and lake grass", and further put forward the strategic position of "grass", "grass" and "grass grazing" from the height of the cause of the party and the state, and the development of grass industry also ushered in new opportunities. The employment direction of this major after graduation is soil and fertilizer technician, forestry technician, landscape design, genetic breeding and cultivation technician, soil and fertilizer technician, etc. However, most students who graduate from this major will choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination to study biology, botany, ecology and plant protection.
Second, the initial experience.
1. Ideological and political theory
Actually, politics is relatively simple. Review began in mid-September after the school internship. I bought a postgraduate political course in Jiang Zhongting, which means that I have finished all the courses.
Later, I remembered a book "Strong Grass in the Wind" published by 1 1 month. I bought the book and began to recite it.
Of course, Xiao Xiurong's eight volumes and four volumes play a key role in the politics of postgraduate entrance examination. I set aside two hours every day to recite the big questions behind me, which are basically finished.
Before the exam, Xu Tao had a punching class, which consisted of one or two classes. Basically, he talked about current politics and so on, and he also took a few questions. To sum up, Jiang Zhongting's class is used to lay the foundation, Xiao Xiurong's test paper is used to sprint before the exam, and Xu Tao's class is used to understand current politics.
2. English
Recommended books: love words, isn't it grammar and long sentences? Writing is like this (you don't need to buy books, you are recommended to attend classes), and the logic of reading (you must watch in class! ! Tang yyds), collection of true questions
What about English … because I didn't get very high in the exam myself, I dare not say how good experience I can provide, for reference only.
The most basic thing is to recite words. By the end of the postgraduate entrance examination, I had learned 5500 words at least three times. From the day you decide to take the postgraduate entrance examination, you have to recite words every day. Of course, as long as I stick to it, this task will be easier. In the last two months, I have sorted out 14 pieces of paper, all of which are unfamiliar words. I recite two pieces of paper every day for seven days. It is suggested to recite according to Ebbinghaus forgetting curve (words are recited for the second time).
After reciting the words, you can begin to learn grammar. Don't worry about doing real questions. You can start the summer vacation. I can say that besides reading Liu Xiaoyan all the time, I would also like to recommend her grammar book "Isn't it just grammar and long and difficult sentences?", which is mainly about listening to lectures and understanding. If you have the energy, you can do the questions at the end of the book.
After the words and grammar are done, it is basically summer vacation. If the preliminary work is not done well, the real question looks like looking at flowers in the fog. You must attend Tang Chi's reading class. You can listen to the class first, then do the questions, and read ... It can be said that reading determines the lifeblood of your English senior high school entrance examination. I suggest reading the questions first, then reading three (a new type of cloze translation), and finally writing. Yes, English brush questions are based on the type of questions, not the whole set of writing.
In the composition part, I personally think that Liu Xiaoyan's method is good, that is, sorting out his own fixed templates, or sorting out his own fixed sentence patterns. This template is not written like this except you. You can listen to her writing class in detail.
Finally, talk about the distribution of my English scores in the postgraduate entrance examination. I got 60 points in the multiple-choice part of English One, and I got 40 points in the answer after the exam, so … Can you imagine how difficult Beijing's score is … I haven't scored directly because of my poor translation, so my score of 30 points in the large and small composition is only 18 … I would like to remind you that English should be at least 45 points in the senior high school entrance examination and 50 points in the senior high school entrance examination in 2022, so … well … if English is not good,
3. Professional courses
The book used at that time was Zhong Wang's Plant Physiology.
And soil science in Huang Zhigang.
The study of specialized courses begins with the determination of good institutions. The first study is from March to April, and the number of pages of each professional course is determined every day. Of course, when reading, you are also careful. I will summarize the knowledge points that I think are important in my notebook in time. I'd rather learn slowly, but I must thoroughly understand what I read. Then the second round of review will be started in August to consolidate the important knowledge of the first time. To put it bluntly, I read this book again. Of course, the feeling of the second time is completely different from the first time. I have re-understood the knowledge points on the basis of the existing ones. Then I started to do the real questions. There is no standard answer to the real question of China Agricultural University, so the answer must be summarized completely and carefully enough. When the real question is finished, it will be1late October. From 1 1 month, keep reciting the answers to the real questions every day. Repeat it many times and keep the answer in mind.
Secondly, in the study of professional courses, we must grasp the key points and difficulties and study in a targeted way, otherwise the amount in the later stage is too large, and everyone may want to understand it thoroughly, which will be particularly difficult; China Agricultural University mainly focuses on photosynthesis, water physiology of plants (because the climate here is relatively dry, and the research direction after entering the school is also the mechanism of plant drought resistance), plant growth substances and hormones, as well as plant respiration, plant response to adversity and stress resistance. The research focus of pedology is mainly on soil structure and properties, soil moisture and so on. When studying these two courses, I personally think that there is basically no difficulty. As long as you read this book carefully, you can understand it. The difficulty mainly lies in the summary of the answers to the short answers and essay questions of the two courses. Personally, I think the answers should be organized and answered one by one. The answer we are looking for is to write down all the knowledge points about this topic. Some essay questions, I remember writing a big page at that time, because there is no standard answer, so you need to summarize them in detail.
Of course, I think the most important way is that I will make a plan for myself every day, what I want to accomplish in English and what I want to accomplish in politics, and then put a check at the back of each plan after I finish it every day, so that I will have a great sense of accomplishment and feel that my life is full every day. Secondly, I can record the whole process of your postgraduate entrance examination, which is also something worth remembering. The whole process of postgraduate entrance examination is very hard. The test is not only your learning ability, but also your ability to withstand pressure. See if you can stick to it and buy loneliness. When I was sick with a cold, I was actually very wronged when I was alone in the field. At that time, the temperature was super low, and living in the dormitory really caught a cold every day. So in the end, I just rented a house and moved out, quietly. Secondly, my schedule is completely adjusted by my biological clock. Of course, I'm more lonely, so I'll have some fun by myself, review for a while and then go out to eat something good. Of course, I think it is accompanied and encouraged by friends to persist. I have a best friend who originally took part in the postgraduate entrance examination together. As a result, the list of candidates came out, and she successfully applied for graduate school. I will review myself, but she will give me a lot of spiritual encouragement and support so that I will not be defeated by the immediate difficulties. Secondly, I feel that in the face of the voice of self-denial, I often give myself psychological hints: to be happy, to be healthy, and to take the postgraduate entrance examination. I think having a good attitude is an important way to adjust the postgraduate entrance examination. Secondly, we must have a healthy body and eat better in order to cope with a lot of mental work every day. With these, you should be eager to take the postgraduate entrance examination.
As long as you really pay, there will be good results. No matter how bad your previous studies were, what the postgraduate entrance examination needs is not intelligence, but whether a person can persist and work hard.
Third, the second interview
How to prepare for the second interview? First, try to get in touch with last year's seniors and find the key points of the re-examination of professional courses. Second, prepare more oral English for the interview, especially English self-introduction, and memorize it. Third, the comprehensive re-examination focuses on two aspects, the first is the knowledge of professional courses, and the second is the experience of undergraduate scientific research competitions. Fourth, you should know everything about yourself about the content on your resume. What teachers dislike most are dishonest students. Sincere and humble attitude during the second interview.
As for the second interview, I think as long as your initial score is high enough, there will be no problem in the second interview. The second interview is mainly an interview. Don't be afraid. After you go in, it's like chatting with the teacher. It's inevitable to be nervous, but everyone will be nervous. Politeness, smile and sincerity are the keys to the second interview. Just relax。 China Agricultural University brushes off very few people every year. Basically, students who enter the second interview will not have any big problems as long as they play normally. Don't be afraid of your interview. The teacher didn't pick on you. The teacher is very good, but pay attention to your published papers, your patents and your awards. If the teacher finds out that they are fake, they will definitely veto you by one vote. I hope everyone can face this exam with a good attitude.
Fourth, summary.
Postgraduate entrance examination, in addition to determination and perseverance, the most important thing is to have its own rhythm. Some people get up at six in the morning, while others get up at nine. Some people can study until 12 at night or even all night, while others can only study until 10: 30 at night ... That doesn't mean everyone should be like the former or the latter. You should have your own rhythm. Don't listen to the online and counseling agencies saying that you can't get into the exam until six in the morning, right? Although it is the easiest to copy their rhythm, is this "all-purpose" template really suitable for everyone?
There is no shortcut to postgraduate entrance examination. I have explained everything I can tell you. Since you have a dream of taking the postgraduate entrance examination, why not give yourself a chance and never know if you can! Of course, in fact, no matter how good the experience is, the younger brothers and sisters need to experience it themselves. It should be noted that the method is not suitable for everyone, so we must learn from it according to our own situation! All right! I will be honored if my sharing can benefit my brothers and sisters! I wish all the hard-working postgraduate students can get high marks! Come on! Graduate student ~
