University of British Columbia (UBC), formerly known as McGill University in British Columbia, gained independence in 19 15. It is a well-known Canadian public research university, a member of the Pacific Rim University Alliance, Universitas 2 1 and association of commonwealth universities, and the oldest university in British Columbia. Its school is located in Vancouver.
