Students who are interested in other majors and have special skills during their study can apply for changing majors; Students admitted in the form of special enrollment may not change their major if there are relevant regulations in the country or there is a clear agreement with the school before admission. The relevant conditions and requirements for changing majors shall refer to the Detailed Rules for the Administration of Student Status in shangqiu university.
One of the following circumstances shall not be transferred to a major:
(a) did not obtain a student status.

Students in any of the following circumstances may change their major, which is not restricted by the above conditions:

(3) Students who drop out of school to start a business or apply to join the China People's Liberation Army (including the Chinese People's Armed Police Force) and return to school after retirement need to change their majors due to their own circumstances.
Students who meet the above conditions can apply for changing their majors on their own, and their college will make suggestions and arrange professional studies suitable for them to continue their studies with the consent of the Academic Affairs Office.
