Feng Weinan, a native of Shanghai, 1986 was admitted to the history department of Fudan University to study for a master's degree in world history. 1989 studied for a doctorate in advance without taking the test, and went to Kyoto university in Japan as the first Sino-Japanese joint doctoral student, studying under the famous Japanese scholar Shinichi Yamamura. 1993 obtained a doctorate in history.

1995- 1997, went to Kanagawa University in Japan as a visiting scholar and engaged in teaching and research for two years.

From 2000 to 2006, 5438+0, as the first batch of scholars in the "International Academic Exchange Support Project" of the Korean Higher Education Consortium, he went to Korea University to engage in research work for one year. He is currently a history professor at Fudan University.
