At least 18 to 24 years old, fresh graduates from all kinds of undergraduate courses, junior colleges and high schools (including vocational high schools, technical secondary schools and technical schools), and male college students studying in all kinds of full-time ordinary colleges and universities at all levels can voluntarily enlist in the army. The main targets for college students to join the army are all kinds of undergraduate and junior college students who have completed professional courses this year and participated in internships until graduation.
Basic physical conditions: the height of boys 162 cm or more, the naked eye of girls 160 or more is not less than 4.6, and the naked eye of girls is not less than 4.5.
Second, the collection procedures and methods
1. Registration: All eligible full-time college students can apply in the armed forces department of their school and the armed forces department where the school is registered.
2. Physical examination: College students participate in the physical examination organized by the recruitment office. Physical examination requires two certificates, one form and one photo, that is, ID card, student ID card, pre-enrollment object registration form and student's photo.
Three. Relevant policies and reward and punishment measures for collection
1. The policy of "giving priority to employment" before enlistment. During the period of conscription, military service organs at all levels will provide "green channels" for recruits in colleges and universities at all levels: giving priority to registration, giving priority to medical examination and political examination, giving priority to approving soldiers and simplifying procedures. Registration shall be handled directly by the military service organs at the county level. Five days before the conscription medical examination, the county-level military service organs should inform the pre-requisitioned objects one by one of the time, place and matters needing attention; Give priority to the approval of fresh graduates who have passed the physical examination and political examination.
2. Relevant schooling policies during the working period.
(1) Arrange your studies reasonably. Before college students join the army, the school should try to arrange for them to take the exams of the courses they have studied this semester, or they can be exempted from the exams of the courses they have studied this semester according to their usual study conditions, and directly determine their grades and credits, and keep their school status until one year after retirement. Those who have completed the required courses or completed the required credits and meet the graduation requirements may be granted graduation and issued with graduation certificates. After joining the army, college students can take part in correspondence courses or self-taught exams organized by the original school, and can take the exams organized by the school with the approval of regimental units. After joining the army, students will be allowed to resume their studies in their original schools.
(2) Appropriate tuition waiver. After college students are approved to join the army, the rest of the tuition and fees paid will be returned to them by the school or managed by the school. After retiring from active service, if the family is in financial difficulties, the school will reduce the tuition fees as appropriate; Those who enjoy outstanding student scholarships before enlisting will be promoted to scholarship level after resuming their studies (excluding first-class scholarships); For those who have won the third-class merit award, tuition fees will be reduced or exempted according to the standard of not less than 50% after resuming school; Those who have won the third class or second class merit twice and been awarded the honorary title are exempt from paying all tuition fees after resuming their studies.
(3) Return to school after retirement. After students join the army, the original school keeps their student status and is allowed to return to school after retirement. If the original school is revoked, the education administrative department of the province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government) shall arrange for it to be transferred to an institution of higher learning with the same academic ability and related majors to resume studies; If the original major is revoked, the school will arrange to transfer to other majors to resume school; Individual learning difficulties, you can apply for an extension of study time; Under the same conditions, priority is given to the admission of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Those who have won the third-class merit or above in the army are former undergraduates, who can apply to transfer to other majors in our school, and former junior college students can enter our school for undergraduate study with the same major or similar majors without examination. Is an independent college student, arranged by the provincial education administrative department where the school is located; Those who have won the prize of Class II or above can walk the graduate students of this major without taking the test after graduation.
3. Training and use after enlistment. When determining the direction of college students' enlistment, the military service organs should arrange them to serve in troops with high academic qualifications, complex majors and strong skills as far as possible, and give full play to their advantages and specialties to meet the needs of army building. For outstanding college students, priority is given to learning skills, selecting non-commissioned officers, applying for military schools and directly promoting officers. For college students who are discharged from the army and return to school, if they voluntarily meet the relevant conditions, they will give priority to selecting national defense students during their school days or directly recruit military cadres after graduation. College students with full-time bachelor's degrees and bachelor's degrees can be directly promoted to officers after two years as soldiers.
4. Special care and placement during service and related wage subsidies. During the service period, the army will give a monthly subsidy of around 300 yuan to college students who have been approved to join the army. After two years of service, conscripts can be transferred to non-commissioned officers if they need to volunteer with themselves. Non-commissioned officers implement the salary system, and their families enjoy the treatment of military families. Before joining the army, the people's government where their household registration is located gives preferential treatment to the families of conscripts according to their provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government). After retiring from active service, college students who are unwilling to return to school will be accepted by the veterans resettlement agency where their pre-school accounts are located, and the resettlement work will be done according to the relevant policies and regulations of urban retired soldiers. According to statistics, college students' conscripts have enjoyed subsidies, meals, clothing, veterans' subsidies and preferential payments totaling15,200 yuan, and their average monthly income exceeds that of 660 yuan. If college students' conscripts choose monetized resettlement after leaving the army, the average monthly income will exceed 1480 yuan. During the first service period as a noncommissioned officer, the average monthly income of college students will exceed 1850 yuan in five years. If you choose monetized resettlement after leaving the army, the average monthly income will exceed 2240 yuan. During the service of college students' second-term noncommissioned officers, the average monthly income for eight years will exceed 2620 yuan. After the expiration of the second non-commissioned officers' service, college students choose monetary resettlement, with an average monthly income of more than 3,000 yuan.
