Peking University China Ancient Literature Research Center is a unit established by Peking University Institute of Ancient Literature and the National College Ancient Committee. The members of the reorganized center are mainly composed of these two units. At present, the director of the center is Professor Qiu Anping, and the deputy directors are Professor Qiu Xigui and Professor Sun Qinshan. There are four research laboratories: ancient characters and unearthed documents research laboratory, ancient documents research laboratory, handed down documents research laboratory and overseas sinology research laboratory. There are 18 full-time staff who entered the center for the first time, among whom Anping Qiu, Qiu Xigui and Sun Qinshan are academic leaders. At the same time, eight part-time researchers were hired inside and outside the school. The age structure of the existing staff in the center is basically reasonable, forming an academic echelon combining old, middle and young people. At present, it is still strengthening the construction of academic echelon and maintaining its leading position in the country. In daily work, the center adopts the way of combining scientific research with teaching, which complement each other and promote each other.
