China adopts a public registration method for young women to join the army, which mainly includes the following procedures:

The first is online registration. Young female candidates log on to the "online registration system for female soldiers" and fill in the registration information. After the registration deadline, the online registration system will automatically sort the applicants according to the relative scores of the college entrance examination in that year, and select the primary candidates. Young women who are identified as pre-selected candidates can log on to the online registration system and print the online registration review form for young women applicants.

The second is the first trial. Young women hold the Examination Form for Online Registration of Young Women Recruitment, graduation certificate (college students hold student ID card), resident ID card, etc. And participate in the preliminary examination according to the requirements notified by the military service organ. Those who pass the examination are determined to be the objects of investigation, and those who fail are disqualified.

The third is physical examination and political examination. According to the notice of the military service organs, the subjects participated in physical examination, comprehensive quality evaluation and political examination as required.

The fourth is to approve the enlistment. For those who pass the physical examination and political examination, comprehensive evaluation and ranking shall be organized in accordance with the provisions, and the county (city, district) conscription office shall approve the enlistment in line with the principle of better troops and simpler administration.
