Generally speaking, the results of CET-4 will be obtained 60 working days after the written test. The query time of CET-4 scores in 2023 is expected to be around February 24th, and the specific release time and method shall be subject to the announcement published on the website of CET-4 and CET-6.

CET-4 is a national English test sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. It is designed, organized, managed and implemented by the National College English Test Committee for CET-4 and CET-6 (formerly known as "College English Test Design Group for CET-4 and CET-6" 1993). The purpose of examination is to promote the implementation of college English syllabus, objectively and accurately measure college students' English ability, and serve to improve the teaching quality of college English courses in China.

Conditions for applying for CET-4

1, full-time undergraduate and junior college students, graduate students.

2. Undergraduate and junior college students in full-time adult colleges.

3. Students who have completed the CET-4 can apply for CET-4.

4. Students with 425 points in CET-6 can apply for CET-6.

5. CET-4 and CET-6 are candidates who have completed the corresponding written test, that is, they can apply for CET-4 and CET-6 after completing the written test.

6. Non-school students can't sign up for the exam.
