Beijing Humanities University is a private university with a series of non-national education recognized by the state. There is a certain gap between the diploma of private universities and the full-time national education series of public universities, mainly because the civil service examination will be restricted to a certain extent. According to Article 33 of Chapter 4 of the Law on the Promotion of Private Education in People's Republic of China (PRC), "the educated in private schools enjoy the same rights as those in similar public schools at the same level in terms of further education, employment, social preferential treatment and participation in advanced selection." Fully recognized by the society, it has the same effect in personal job hunting, internal evaluation, job creation, promotion, salary increase, primary and secondary school examinations of various vocational qualifications, continuing education (such as postgraduate courses), and notarization abroad.
Since the reform and opening up, China's private colleges and universities have developed rapidly, and their unique teaching methods and graduates' good professional knowledge and practical ability have been more and more praised by employers. The employment rate of private universities exceeds that of a considerable number of public universities. The tuition fee of private universities is 70,000 to 80,000 or even tens of thousands per year, which is several times that of public universities. There are still a large number of parents who send their children to private universities, which shows the gold content of private university education.
