Guangxi University is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, which is called China Greentown. It is the only state-level 2 1 1 engineering construction school in Guangxi, and it is a double-class construction university, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The school covers an area of 210.4 million mu, including 45.50.7 mu of Guangxi Subtropical Agricultural New Town and10.69 million mu, with a total construction area of more than 2 million square meters.

At present, Guangxi University has 2509 full-time undergraduates1person, full-time postgraduates 13046, part-time postgraduates165438, 956 overseas students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 40449 continuing education students.

At present, there are 3,346 on-the-job teaching and administrative staff in Guangxi University, including 54 senior professional and technical positions, 960 deputy senior professional and technical positions, 2 full-time academicians of China Academy of Engineering, 62 candidates for major national talent projects, and 29 people enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
