1, Anhui Normal University
Anhui Normal University, located in Wuhu City, is the earliest institution of higher learning in Anhui Province. It is a key university determined by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and a high-level university with characteristics in Anhui Province. The school's predecessor was the provincial Anhui University 1928 founded in Anqing. 1946 was renamed as National Anhui University, and 1949 moved to Wuhu in February.
