Still life painting is a kind of painting name which is different from figure painting and landscape painting in its performance content. Generally speaking, it depicts a part of natural objects or artifacts in nature alone or in combination, most of which are common or commonly used in people's daily life. Before the Renaissance, still life painting did not become an independent kind of painting, but there were some descriptions of still life in mural scenes. It can be said that most western artists study still life paintings in their artistic career. Still life painting has also experienced a historical evolution from realistic classical painting style to modern decorative deformation style.
We shouldn't regard still life painting as just a beginner's painting, so as to ignore it. Still life, as a kind of painting, has occupied a considerable position in people's aesthetic mind.
