Marriage must be entirely voluntary, and neither party is allowed to force the other, nor is any third party allowed to interfere.

Article 6

The age of marriage should not be earlier than 22 for men and 20 for women. Late marriage and childbearing should be encouraged.

Third parties include schools and parents, so marriage is allowed by law.

Moreover, the newly promulgated Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities cancels Article 30 of the Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities promulgated by the former State Education Commission 1990, "Students who marry without authorization during their school days shall be treated as dropping out of school". This actually recognizes this right of college students.
