The location of the South Campus (Headquarters), also known as Kangleyuan, is the campus of the former Lingnan University. In Le Kang Park, there are many buildings built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Kangle Park, Weiming Lake of Peking University and Luojiashan of Wuda University are also called the three most beautiful landscapes in China. In Le Kang Park, trees are swaying, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, and the environment is very beautiful. Huaishitang, Yongfangtang (under repair), Chen Yinque's former residence, Heishiwu, Martin Hall, Xingting, the bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen, the memorial archway of ugly Jinshi of the Ming Dynasty, and the memorial archway of National Sun Yat-sen University are all very rich buildings.
South Campus is the central campus of Sun Yat-sen University, where the main administrative organs are located. The students in the school are mainly master students and doctoral students, but also a small number of undergraduate students, such as China Department of Language and Literature (Guangzhou), Department of History (Guangzhou), Department of Philosophy (Guangzhou), School of Sociology and Anthropology, Boya College (School of Humanities and General Education), School of Marxism, Lingnan College, School of Foreign Languages and School of Mathematics (Guangzhou).
