Qingdao University is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province. Universities have been established in Shandong Province and Qingdao City, and high-level universities in Shandong Province have been built into "first-class" universities, with a national cultural quality education base for college students and an education base in China.

It is the first batch of pilot universities for the comprehensive reform of undergraduate majors in local universities under the "Undergraduate Teaching Project" of the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of postgraduate training mode of medical master's degree.
