More and more college students are returning to vocational schools. Do you think it is important to have a craft?
I think it is really important to have a craft in today's society. People always have a skill!

With the national emphasis on education and the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education in recent years, it is easier to get into universities now than before, the cultural level of the people has obviously improved, and the popularization rate of college students is getting higher and higher! There is a good joke, it's raining now, and most of the people who take to the streets are college students! College students have no broad career prospects in the past few decades. The large-scale enrollment expansion of schools has led to college students everywhere. Most of them lack practical skills, but simply understand relevant theoretical knowledge!

For me, I studied business English in college. How do you say this major? To put it mildly, it will be of great use to foreign trade and international trade in the future. To put it bluntly, it is neither fish nor fowl. Which university doesn't offer English classes, and which college student can't speak English? Although I am an English major, to be honest, my English level is not necessarily as high as that of non-English majors! I remember in high school, the teacher told us that English is a language tool. Never apply for English major in the future. Apart from being a teacher or a clerk in a small country, there is no great achievement! If you want to have a better development prospect, you need to learn some more professional skills and knowledge besides learning English!

Sure enough, I have been in college for four years, and my spoken English has not improved much. Studying grammar all day, I feel confused about my future. After graduation, I went to several companies for interviews and failed! In fact, we really need to learn another technology, which is more advantageous for our English majors. I have a classmate who went directly to Guangzhou to participate in foreign trade after graduation, mainly engaged in international trade of lamps, but his salary is very low. Because he speaks too much English, he doesn't have to be an English major to be competent. As long as they are students, they can basically do it after passing CET-4 and CET-6. He thought there was absolutely no future in this way, so he enrolled in a technical school and studied automobile maintenance in facial make-up, so he could only have one. In recent years, more and more college students have returned to the furnace for further study, and some even went to technical schools to re-learn their skills after working for several years!

The reason is not that the social competitiveness is too great. Every year, there are millions and tens of millions of fresh graduates, whose jobs are hard to find, wandering around, job-hopping, low wages and high cost of living, so they have to go to further study, improve their social status and find a high-tech job in the future!

Learning to master a skill is really important, not only for college students, but also for others!
