South China University of Technology

South China University of Technology, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), a national key university determined by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and ranks among the top "double-class" universities in China.

The history of South China University of Technology can be traced back to the 1930s, even to the late Qing Dynasty. The Institute of Technology of Sun Yat-sen University, as the foundation of its establishment, originated from the National Institute of Technology of Sun Yat-sen University and was established in 193 1 and in1August, 934.
