The Institute of International Relations, Guo Guan for short, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing and directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is one of the six "small-scale pilot universities" of the Ministry of Finance and a national key university with foreign languages and international issues as its teaching and research direction.
