Brief introduction of college

Hebei University of Engineering is a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance, which is the first batch of pilot schools for the construction of secondary colleges in Hebei Province, key universities in Hebei Province and emergency management colleges.

The school's predecessor was Hebei Institute of Engineering, which was formed by the merger of Hebei Institute of Architecture and Technology (including Handan Branch of North China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower, which was merged on April 5, 2002), Handan Medical College (founded on 195 1) and Handan Agricultural College (founded on 1975) on April 6, 2003.
