Zhejiang University, called Zhejiang University for short, was founded in 1897 and located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the central government. Once known as "Oriental Cambridge", it ranks among "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project" and national "double-class" construction universities. This university has been selected into the Everest Plan, the 20 1 1 Plan, the academic innovation and intelligence introduction plan of universities, the education and training plan for outstanding engineers, the education and training plan for outstanding legal talents, the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, and the national public graduate program for building high-level universities. It is the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
