Chongqing Metro Line 4 is a line under construction, with an estimated total length of 56.82 kilometers, starting from Xinpaifang in Yubei District and ending at Shichuan Town in Yubei District. The whole line is located in Liangjiang New District, the third national new district in China, and it is transferred to five rail transit lines in the network (Line 3, Ring Line, 10, Line 9, 1 1). Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3 started construction on April 6, 2007, with a total length of about 66 kilometers. It is the longest straddle-type monorail transit line in the world, and it is the backbone of rail transit in the north-south direction of Chongqing, connecting Banan District, Nan 'an District, Yuzhong District, Jiangbei District and Yubei District, greatly alleviating the traffic pressure along the line.

Extended Information Chongqing Rail Transit Line 5 starts from Guangdong-Hong Kong Avenue planned by Liangjiang New Area in the north and ends at Tiaode in the south. At the same time, it is planned to have an extension line (Tiaodeng-Xipeng-Qijiang) and a branch line (Xietaizi-Lijiatuo-Tiaodeng), with a total length of about 47.8km, which is the backbone line of Chongqing rail transit network in the north-south direction.
