The Wheat Research Institute of Sichuan Agricultural University has more than 300 acres of breeding and material breeding bases all the year round. Among them, there are about 70 mu of Huihe Village in Wenjiang Fair Town and more than 230 mu of Zhuanquan Town in Chongzhou. The base mainly includes conventional cross breeding of wheat, the creation of new materials with specific excellent genes by chromosome engineering, molecular marker-assisted breeding and the propagation and evaluation of original parent resources.
