How to write a teaching assistant log table

Have you been a teaching assistant for some time? So how to write the teaching assistant log form? The following is the teaching assistant log for your reference!

The teaching assistant journal became a formal teaching assistant for the first time, and entered the classroom with the work permit of the teaching assistant. He is not an intern teacher or an audit teaching assistant, but a formal teaching assistant hired by the school. I was a little nervous, but when I walked out of the classroom with the teacher's full joy and smile after class, I just wanted to say: thank you to all the people who made me attached to this class.

My teaching assistant's class is a public class? Theory and practice of educational technology? Normal students' class of art college. The experience of just two classes can be summarized in one sentence: the classroom atmosphere is harmonious, teachers and students have a tacit understanding, and the learning content is delivered in place. The teacher is a good-natured female teacher, who speaks softly, carefully prepares courseware for students, and pays great attention to the teaching process. The students are very good. When they find problems in practice, they will raise their hands and ask the teacher. Before class, because of the computer failure, the students all cooperated with the teacher, or restarted the computer or waited for the computer program to respond. When the teacher is explaining, the students are listening quietly; When the teacher asks for practice, students will seriously try to complete the practice task, and even some students who finish the task ahead of time will preview the next learning content.

I have listed three reasons for the current situation that students are so actively cooperating with teachers to complete their learning tasks.

First of all, task-driven plays a decisive role. In instructional design, every learner should upload his exercise homework to his own Moodle platform. Therefore, in order to complete the learning task, students must practice seriously and at least finish their homework. I wonder if these class assignments are directly related to the final exam results. If not, these good students are really touching.

Secondly, the professional characteristics of art college students make them interested in learning content. Our practice is to use information technology to master the manipulation of color, graphics and even aesthetics by electronic whiteboard software. Art college students generally have a better grasp of color, graphics and aesthetics than other students, and the theoretical basis of art is of great help to software operation. In the process of teaching as a teaching assistant, I found a girl who drew by hand because the software had no drawing tools (not very formal). Although she completed the technical part of the exercise task, she was still distressed by her irregular drawings. Tell me? Is my five-pointed star that ugly? (Isn't it cute? ).

Finally, normal students themselves have natural learning needs for whiteboard software. Electronic whiteboards have almost become popular in urban primary and secondary schools, so normal students must contact electronic whiteboards when they enter school. Personally, it is really touching for freshmen to have such awareness. )

Journal of teaching assistants 2 1. The teaching assistant's job seems simple, but it is not easy.

During the winter vacation, I received a WeChat from Teacher Yang, asking me if I would like to be a software engineering teaching assistant for the book "The Method of Construction". Yang told me that the author of this book is the chief director of Microsoft. I thought that if I could get closer to Niuren, I would gain something, so I accepted it gladly. Niu Ge told me that he used to be a teaching assistant, so I consulted him and the result was very satisfactory. He said it was easy to be a teaching assistant, so he commented on his blog and read the code written by his classmates, and I believed him.

At the beginning of school, I am going to teach two courses this semester. At the same time, I was invited by Mr. Zhou to work as a software engineering assistant in Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics this semester. At the beginning of the semester, Teacher Zhou emphasized the seriousness of the problem to me. The number of students studying software engineering in Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics this semester is 150. But I didn't feel much at the time. I just want to comment on my blog and see how long it will take to read a few articles. After Teacher Zhang and xu teacher left their homework for the first time, I collapsed. I tried to calculate that it takes about 5 minutes to read and comment on a classmate's blog, which is 1 hour comment 10 classmate's blog. This is just a simple text blog like "read through the structural rules and ask five questions" at the beginning of school. 150 classmate, I think it will take at least 15 hours, that is, two days' work. Every Saturday and Sunday, I have to sit in front of the computer and work for two days in a row. This started out as a simple text blog. I decided to apply for assistance. Teacher Zou and Teacher Zhou measured it. This is my first time as a teaching assistant, so I sent Liu from Beihang University to help me finish the work. I am in charge of/kloc-class 0/2, and he is in charge of class 34.

I started this long and challenging job as a teaching assistant. Every Friday, I open a teacher's blog to accept the task, which seems to be a sacred mission. When I first started commenting on blogs, I really had no experience. I just said something like keep on cheering. Teacher Zhou and Teacher Zou said that my comments were too soft, so we should get to the point of the students' problems. For me, I am a teacher myself, because all the students I teach are students from vocational colleges and got more than 200 points in the college entrance examination', so my class style is encouragement+encouragement. If I point out what they don't do well, their usual performance is to shrink back or resist, or even give up learning from now on. But I think what Teacher Zou and Teacher Zhou said is very reasonable. How to improve without pointing out the problem? How can we improve without improvement?

Second, the content of student feedback

At the end of the course, all students who carefully answer the following additional questions will get corresponding scores. Additional homework Additional homework at the end of Shen Hang Software Engineering

The following are the students' feedback:

Team time reduction

Teachers should strengthen the supervision of classroom attendance and strengthen the rectification of classroom discipline.

The scoring standard for pairing projects should also be the same as that for team projects. Two people divide their scores, and only they know how much they have done for this project and how many points they deserve.

People who want to deal with plagiarism seriously.

Improve the grading standards, I feel that the grading standards are too low, and some students with high scores have not produced as good works as I expected.

Students think that blogs are well written, and they may get high marks. Teaching assistants don't know their classmates, so they just give marks.

Everyone benefits from team programming and hopes to add another team programming project.

Ask the working group to show you the work items in class regularly, preferably in the form of PPT, with pictures and truth. When finished, change the following groups.

Increase personal challenges and appropriately increase the difficulty.

Students who perform well (including those who have made great progress) should be encouraged appropriately.

Teachers always think that everyone is doing well, but they are not. I think we should add a defense to this project. Without defense, some students who study this course in the future will still do so, and those who can't learn will still be unable to learn.

Third, the students' ideas in the additional questions:

1. Where do you think this course needs to be improved? What are the specific measures, including: time schedule, project difficulty, etc.

I don't think this course has really found a group of people who are really interested in programming or have strong programming skills. I think we can combine these people and really do a large-scale project, so that fewer people are lazy and contribute less.

Solution: Each group will promote the best, and introduce people with many contributions and strong programming skills, because after all, everyone's ability is different, and I think if they are strong, they may be able to play a greater advantage; I'm not saying that there are no other advantages without strong programming skills. On the contrary, a team can't have only 1~2 developers. You can only do small projects. Studying software engineering is to improve my ability. If we instinctively reduce the development time (take classes), for those who really like programming, the ability improvement may not be great, but it is equivalent to a small homework after class. At the same time, these students should be encouraged to take part in more science and technology competitions, which can bring them different feelings.

2. You think that the teaching assistants/teachers are not doing enough, and there are too many restrictions.

I think class is more restrained. Can we reduce the class schedule and practice more, so that everyone may have resistance to theoretical knowledge. Over time, the attendance rate in class will drop;

The grades given by teaching assistants are sometimes subjective, because, for example, the expression of blogs is divergent, which may be unfair to some students who do well but can't say it, because it is very common to modify documents in a company, because once the writing is not up to standard, it is not easy to judge; On the other hand, if the standards can be given in advance and the results are given according to the teaching assistants' understanding of the students, there will not be much difference.

Obviously, we can feel that there is not enough communication between teaching assistants and teachers. Sometimes teaching assistants don't understand the teacher's requirements, which leads to problems in grading. For example, once, the teacher said that only one person needed to upload the program to the code for two people in pair programming, but the teaching assistants didn't know it, which made it impossible to add scores. Although this is not just, although there is only one, I just take this example to illustrate the problem, ha.

3. What problems do you think exist in the grading standards of each project? What do you think is a reasonable grading standard (individual/double/team three points)?

I think there is no problem with the grading standard, so we will grade according to the degree of completion and the completion point, but we hope to put the grading standard in the process of completing the task, not the final result. Although customers will only recognize the final result but not the process in their future work, after all, we are still beginners in software engineering, and the process is still more important than the result.

Fourth, publish a teaching assistant blog:

This semester, I commented 540 times on my blog;

It takes about 10 minutes to view and comment on a blog;

Spend an average of 700 minutes a week commenting on blogs;

Too little interaction with teachers, maybe 10 times;

The students who interact with me the most should be Liu Chang and Zou Li. Although they all came to me for points, they were basically persuaded by me, and there were simple exchanges during the period. I feel that all the students in this school have an upward heart, but it seems that some people are willing but can't. At the beginning of school, everyone was full of ambitions, saying that they felt that their foundation was not good and hoped to improve their programming ability through this course. But when the team project was really implemented, everyone seemed to flinch and felt that there was nothing they could do, and the team project slowly ran aground.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) gives advice to students:

Let's get started and start writing code now.

Publish your grades online, and people will comment on you, and then you will know what you did wrong, because you will definitely do badly. Win 10' s operating system still needs to be restored, not to mention those of us who just started writing code.

If others have comments on you, you should improve it in time, so that you can fall behind quickly, get new user feedback, and your progress will be faster.

Don't be afraid of failure. There is nothing to lose by writing a failed program. Start from the beginning.

Regarding whether the grading standard should be issued first or later, I think the grading standard should be issued later, because no one will evaluate what is good software and what is not when students come to the company in the future. The user's rating standard only exists after you have made the product, so please pay attention to every blog and every submitted product.

As for what the students said, "If the students think that the blog is well written, they may get high marks, and the teaching assistants don't know the students, so they will grade it indiscriminately". Personally, I think that if a blog is well written, the score will be high, which is not wrong. I remember the teacher told me that project demonstration is as important as project coding, and I have a deep understanding in practical work. Blog is a place where everyone shows their works. If the blog is not well written, I think there are three reasons First, you didn't make a decent product. Second, you haven't written a blog seriously. Third, you despise blogging. For any kind of students, I don't think we should give high marks. Please write a blog and show your products.

Sixth, I hope that teachers can make improvements:

Put forward several basic grading standards in the blog that publishes homework.

Comment on students' blogs and let them know that their teachers are also paying attention to their blogs and projects.

Set aside some time in each class to comment on the students' projects, or find a good classmate or team to show the projects in each class.

Team project demonstration: release the project video online.

Seven, I hope some improvements:

Communicate with teachers more. Sometimes the teacher says how to grade in class, and I don't know. Only after the grading, did the students reflect that my grading standard was inconsistent with the teacher's.

It is more helpful to guide students to learn more knowledge in the field of computing and improve their programming ability.

Commenting on blogs is more timely, and the results are released more timely, so that students will find that the teacher is pushing hard and they will not relax.

Blog writing is more quality, illustrated with pictures and texts, with more detailed grading standards and clearer organization.

Eight, thank you:

Thank you, Mr. Zou, for your constant support. I am so busy at work that I read my classmates' blogs every day, and I can always point out my classmates' problems. For the education of software engineering, I will take out my own manuscript fee and subsidize our teaching assistants.

Thanks to Liu Jiaoshou's help for a semester, we can see that he really loves computers and has a deep professional foundation. In the process of teaching as a teaching assistant, the scores of each project are not refined much, and the maps and charts are so exquisite. I especially like helping others. Every time I am confused, he takes the initiative to help me solve it. As a teacher, I am really ashamed.

Thank you, Mr. Zhou, for always guiding and urging me like my sister, often giving my classmates chicken soup, always paying attention to the students' dynamics and helping me solve problems.

Thanks to Teacher Zhang and xu teacher from Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. They have always trusted me very much. In the meantime, I can't comment on my blog due to physical reasons. They also sent their concern and always supported my work. Thank you.

Finally, I want to thank my teacher, Miss Yang. It is because of Mr. Yang that I became attached to the software engineering "Method of Construction", participated in the practical software engineering of "Anti-Tearing Team" and served as a teaching assistant of Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to find out the gap between myself and others.

As a software engineering teaching assistant for one semester, I certainly gained something. I hope I can make persistent efforts and constantly learn and enrich myself.
