College entrance examination is the abbreviation of the selection examination for junior college students to enter the undergraduate stage, and it is the examination system for junior college students to enter the undergraduate colleges in Chinese mainland education system.

The plan puts forward that graduates of vocational and technical colleges are allowed to receive higher-level academic education after passing the examination.
In order to build an education system that is compatible with the socialist market economic system and the inherent laws of higher education and is connected with different types of ordinary higher education, some outstanding graduates of higher vocational colleges (universities) can enter the ordinary undergraduate stage.
