I. Introduction to the College
In 2008, the Law School was formally established, aiming at building a world-class law school with a high starting point, internationalization and research. 20 1 1 The discipline of law has become one of the key construction disciplines in the third phase of the "985 Project" of Xi Jiaotong University, among which the discipline of international economic law and comparative law has been identified as a world-class discipline. 20 12 Law discipline was approved by the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of Political Science and Law as the first batch of two national excellent legal talents education and training bases-"Applied and Compound Legal Talents Education and Training Base" and "Foreign Legal Talents Education and Training Base".
Second, the teaching staff.
At present, there are more than 60 professional teachers who have graduated from well-known universities at home and abroad, including 2 winners of the national talent plan, 3 winners of the "New Century Excellent Talents Plan" of the Ministry of Education, 9 professors/kloc-0 and 27 associate professors. The Law School founded and edited the international academic journal China Journal of Comparative Law published by Oxford University Press and the monograph series of China and International Economic Law published by Oxford Hart Press, and published more than 0/00 books and teaching materials in famous publishing institutions at home and abroad such as Oxford University Press and Peking University Press.
Three. teaching facilities
Law schools/research institutes have first-class teaching facilities, including the first-class international law professional library in the Asia-Pacific region and the "legal workshop" that has reached the international advanced level (consisting of mock trial laboratory, mock arbitration tribunal laboratory and computer teaching experiment center). The college has excellent e-books, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, TDM/OGEL, investment arbitration journalists, investment creditor's rights, Peking University magic weapon and other legal databases.
