Hou Guo Jin

Hou (1963-), male, Han nationality, doctor, professor, master tutor, from Daye County, Huangshi City, Hubei Province. He is also a member of the post employment Committee of Huaqiao University, the head of the innovation team of pragmatic rhetoric research of Huaqiao University, the director of the Institute of Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics of the School of Foreign Languages of Huaqiao University, the researcher of the Translation Research Center, and the member of the Academic Committee of the School of Foreign Languages. He has won the "Teaching and Educating Award" in Hubei Province and the third prize of social science books in Chongqing (twice). It was rated as "Chongqing Young and Middle-aged Key Teacher", "Chongqing Famous Teacher" and "Quanzhou Senior Talent" (the fourth level). Long-term teaching of "Theoretical Linguistics" (municipal high-quality postgraduate courses), "Pragmatic Translation" (optional courses), "Pragmatics" (school-level high-quality postgraduate courses), and "Introduction to Linguistics, English-Chinese Translation, English Speech and Debate, English Reading and Appreciation Translation" and other undergraduate courses. Its language platform "Chu Jin Yan Blog" is very popular. He has published 7 monographs, 8 other books 18 and more than 20 papers 120, and presided over the national social science project "Pragmatic Translatology: A Study on the Translation of Implied Speech" and the Ministry of Education project "Lexical-Constructive Pragmatics: The First Bridge of Pragmatic Translatology" and "Value Theory of Pragmatic Markers".
