Historical Evolution of Guangming Correspondence University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
1985, there was a second upsurge in running schools in China, and the voice of teaching Chinese medicine by non-governmental organizations was growing. At that time, the private Guangming Correspondence University of Chinese Medicine headed by Lu Bingkui, former director of Chinese Medicine Department of the Ministry of Health, and Wang Enhou, former Party Secretary of Bethune Medical University of the Red Army, under the auspices of Cui Yueli, a "red underground worker", and General Li Desheng, former Minister of Health, and with the support of a group of people who are really keen on Chinese medicine education, embarked on the road of social education without hesitation.

One is the old eighth road, which was burned by the New Fourth Army in those days, and the other is the young Red Army who once traveled all over the snowy mountains and grasslands. Why do they put down their comfortable and leisurely life in their later years and are willing to re-enter the thankless post of running a private school? All this lies in their loyalty to the liver and bravery, and always put human interests and social needs in the highest position. They firmly believe that Chinese medicine has a long way to go. Although there will be difficulties and obstacles, the future is bright and far-reaching. Therefore, with their insights, their rigorous academic attitude, and their sincerity in developing the bright road of traditional Chinese medicine, this rugged but sacred and glorious road has been opened up, and thousands of students have been cultivated and disseminated in the vast fertile soil of the motherland for excavating and sorting out the culture of traditional Chinese medicine and inheriting and developing the cause of traditional Chinese medicine.

Today, 25 years later, we are reunited to carry forward the tireless pursuit of Chinese medicine by the revolutionaries and experts of the older generation, summarize and report our achievements, and explore the way to inherit and carry forward bright Chinese medicine!

A difficult journey, a difficult start, and a difficult harvest. 1985, the second upsurge of learning appeared in China, and the voice of folk Chinese medicine teaching was growing.
