2. Hefei Public Security University: Founded in 1958, it is located in Dashushan Scenic Area in the western suburbs of Hefei, and is the only public security college directly under the Anhui Provincial Public Security Department.

4. In June, 2004, Anhui Public Security Vocational College was established with the approval of the provincial government. It is a higher vocational school at the junior college level.
