1. China Ocean University (OUC), China Haida for short, is located in Qingdao, Shandong.
The school was formerly a private Qingdao University, founded in 1924. 1930, National Qingdao University was established on the basis of provincial Shandong University and private Qingdao University. After the National Shandong University and Shandong University, the main body of Shandong University moved to Jinan in 1958, and in March/959, Shandong Ocean College was established on the basis of the departments of oceanography, fisheries, geology and biology. 1960 was identified as one of the national 13 key comprehensive universities. 1988 was renamed Qingdao Ocean University. In 2002, it was renamed China Ocean University.
2. Dalian Ocean University is a university jointly established by the State Oceanic Administration and the People's Government of Liaoning Province, the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of the national education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, and a key university in Liaoning Province. Originally, it was one of the four aquatic institutions of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Agriculture, and it was a marine and aquatic discipline characterized by industry, agriculture, science, management, literature, law, economics and art in northern China.
3. National Taiwan Province Ocean University (NTOU), formerly known as "Taiwan Province Provincial Maritime College", was founded in 1953 and located in Keelung City, Taiwan Province Province, China. In recent years, the "Top University Program", which received a five-year subsidy of 50 billion yuan (NT$) from Taiwan's education authorities, is a key university in Taiwan Province Province, China.
The school is also the only "national" university that has been awarded the "Outstanding Achievement Award in University Teaching" every year (since the beginning of the project in 2005), and it is also a member of the "Taipei United University System".
4. Zhejiang Ocean University is a teaching and research university founded by State Oceanic Administration and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. As an undergraduate college in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Ocean University was founded in 1958 as the predecessor of Zhoushan Fisheries College. 1975 was renamed as Zhejiang Fisheries College, and 1982 became one of the first universities in China to award bachelor's degrees. In 2006, it was granted the qualification of a master's degree awarding unit, and changed its name to 20 16.
5. Jiangsu Ocean University is located in the eastern bridgehead of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge, and the first batch of coastal open cities in China, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. It is a university built by the "Hundred Schools Project" of the Ministry of Education, a university supported by the National Modern Agricultural Industrial Technology System of the Ministry of Agriculture, a governing university of the National Ocean-related University Academic Affairs Alliance, a member university of the National Ocean-related University Ocean Curriculum Alliance, a national marine awareness education base, and the chairman unit of the Jiangsu Marine Biological Industry Technology Cooperation Alliance.
