Evaluation criteria of university grants
The funding standards for state grants are divided into three levels:

The first-class state grants are 4300 yuan per person per year, the second-class state grants are 3300 yuan per person per year, and the third-class state grants are 2300 yuan per person per year. Each class evaluates the level of funding according to the financial difficulties of the applicant's family.

At the stage of higher education, the state has established a policy system for subsidizing students from poor families in colleges and universities, which organically combines various forms, such as national scholarships, national inspirational scholarships, national grants, national student loans (including national student loans on campus and credit student loans from students' places of origin), free education for normal students, education subsidies for retired soldiers, tuition compensation for student loans, work-study programs, tuition remission and so on.

When students from poor families are admitted to the university, they can first report on time through the "green channel" opened by the school. After entering the school, the school effectively verified the family's financial difficulties and took different measures to give financial assistance. Among them, to solve the tuition and accommodation problems, the national student loan is the main one, supplemented by the national inspirational scholarship.

To solve the problem of living expenses, the state grants are the main ones, supplemented by work-study programs. In addition, the state also actively guides and encourages social organizations, enterprises and individuals to set up scholarships and grants for colleges and universities to help poor students in colleges and universities enter and complete their studies smoothly.

Difficult students

Students with financial difficulties in their families refer to students who can't pay the basic study and living expenses during their studies at school with the funds raised by themselves and their families.

Students need to declare their family financial difficulties to the school, which is determined by the school through democratic appraisal in accordance with the standards and procedures stipulated by the relevant departments. When students apply for the identification of family financial difficulties, they must submit the "Questionnaire on Students and Families in Colleges and Universities" stamped with the official seal of the township (town) or street civil affairs department where the family is located, so as to prove the family economic situation.

Full-time undergraduates in public universities, higher vocational schools and junior colleges (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees) who meet the requirements stipulated by the state enjoy the state funding policy.
