Hu Jian is a film director and screenwriter in China. Born in Xinjiang, grew up in Shanghai and studied in France. From 2003 to 2009, she studied at the International Film Academy (EICAR) in Paris, France and the Film Department (UPV) of the University of Paris VIII, France.
