The grade point system is one of the important supporting measures to implement the credit system. Since 1985 China began to advocate the implementation of the credit system, people have discussed and studied the credit system more, lacking the discussion of the grade point system, thus affecting the smooth implementation of the credit system. This paper analyzes and studies many problems existing in the process of adopting the grade point system in domestic universities, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures on the basis of comparing with the grade point system implemented in American universities.
