The Ministry of Education ranks all universities as follows:

Tsinghua University (1 name), Peking University (2nd), Zhejiang University (3rd), Shanghai Jiaotong University (4th), Fudan University (5th), Nanjing University (6th), University of Science and Technology of China (7th), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (8th) and Wuhan University (9th).

Ministry of Education:

First, study and formulate educational principles and policies; Draw up a draft education law.

Two, study and put forward the education reform and development strategy and national education development plan; To formulate policies for educational system reform, as well as the focus, structure and speed of educational development, and guide and coordinate their implementation.
