Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, undergraduates in our school only have one semester in the last academic year, so students have limited time to carry out various volunteer service activities. The length of volunteer service is an important reference for students to participate in various awards. Considering the actual needs of students, after discussion and decision by the Youth League Committee of the College, the requirements for the length of volunteer service in the 20 19-2020 school year are temporarily adjusted as follows:

1, and the standard for participating in volunteer service of scholarships is adjusted to 20 hours;

2. The calculation time of the length of volunteer service is extended to September 30th;

3. If a student fails to complete the determination of the length of time within the prescribed time limit after winning the prize, his qualification for winning the prize shall be revoked and his qualification for continuing to participate in the scholarship shall be cancelled;

4. From the beginning of school to the end of September, our college will organize no less than 20 hours of volunteer service activities to meet the needs of students' time calculation;

5. If there are no special circumstances in the next school year, it will automatically return to the requirement of 40 hours.

Article 6 Volunteer service activities organized by various units shall be registered according to the time when the activities are carried out, and the basic unit of volunteer service duration is hours. In addition to the following circumstances stipulated in these rules, the years of voluntary service shall be subject to the actual years of service:

(a) for volunteers who volunteer in remote places or across campuses, the relevant units give volunteers a certain time subsidy for volunteer service. If the traffic takes less than 30 minutes (based on the time taken by public transport from the departure point to the destination), no time subsidy will be given; If it takes less than 30 minutes 1 hour, it will be given 1 hour volunteer service subsidy; More than one hour, according to the actual transit time subsidies;

(two) for volunteer service activities that cannot calculate the specific service period due to service forms and other reasons, the activity organizing unit shall propose a method for converting the volunteer service period, which shall be determined through consultation with relevant units;

(3) In case of force majeure such as strong wind, rain and snow on the way, the delay time of volunteers on the way can also be considered as an integral part of the volunteer service period;

(four) other circumstances not mentioned in these rules shall be evaluated by the guidance unit and the volunteer guidance center after discussion.
