Chen Lei holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Tsinghua University and a doctor's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin. He is currently the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Pinduoduo.

He has won many international competition awards, such as the gold medal in the World Olympic Information Competition, and has published research results in the fields of data science and machine learning in the world's top journals and academic conferences for many times.
