Nie Huatong, also known as a native of Guangshui, Hubei, was born in Guanniejiadian, Guangshui City. 1935165438+1was born in Wuhan on October 24th. When I was a child, I studied in Hankou No.14 Primary School, Wuchang Wenhua Middle School and the middle school affiliated to Taiwan Province Normal University. 1957 received a bachelor of science degree from Taiwan Province Provincial University, and 1966 received a doctor of philosophy from Harvard University. Long-term cooperation with world-renowned physicist Yang Zhenning, engaged in theoretical physics research at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA. He is currently the director and professor of the Center for Advanced Studies of Tsinghua University, honorary professor of Yang Zhenning Institute of Theoretical Physics of State University of New York at Stony Brook, adjunct professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and visiting professor of Peking University and China University of Science and Technology.
