2. According to official website of Changchun Education Bureau, the universities in Changchun 21/kloc-0 are Jilin University and Northeast Normal University respectively. Jilin University was founded in 1946, and became one of the first 22 universities to establish graduate schools in 1984. It is the national "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project" and the first batch of "double first-class" universities to build universities. Northeast Normal University is a comprehensive research university jointly founded by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jilin Province. It is the national "2 1 1 engineering" and "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform".
