Of course, foreign languages are very strong in Central and South China. The School of Foreign Languages of Central South University has a history of nearly 40 years. It was founded by the former School of Foreign Languages of Changsha Railway Institute, the School of Foreign Languages of Central South University of Technology and the Department of Foreign Languages of Hunan Medical University. The Institute of Foreign Languages has a research base of humanities and social sciences in Hunan Province-the translation research base, and it is also one of the first nine institutions in China with master's degrees in both interpretation and translation.
