Central South University of Forestry and Technology is characterized by forestry, with forestry-related disciplines as its main task and natural science and humanities and social sciences as its wings.

According to Item (5) of Article 4 of the Interim Measures for the Administration of Non-career Establishment of Central South University of Forestry and Technology (Zhong Nan Lin Fa [2016] No.80), the qualifications and academic qualifications for openly recruiting counselors are "generally, full-time master's degree and degree should be obtained, and the first degree must be a full-time undergraduate graduate with a bachelor's degree". In recent years, the open recruitment conditions for counselor positions in our school are also set according to this condition.
