Lotus pond, big lotus pond is Zhu Ziqing's lotus pond, but Zhu Ziqing is like a small lotus pond, in which there is Shui Mu Tsinghua Gu Yue Hall. Formerly called Fox Hall, it was an island in the middle of the big lotus pond near the Spring Garden in the girls' dormitory. After the invasion of Eight-Nation Alliance, the fate of Yuanmingyuan was similar, and it became a desert island. But now the island is quite interesting ~ there are Confucius statues, peacocks and sika deer ~ there are Zhu Ziqing Pavilion, Wen Yiduo Statue, Wen Pavilion, I-shaped Hall and so on. They are all tourist attractions on the west side of the campus in the teaching area, as well as lovers' slope-a very comfortable lawn with promenades and gardens next to it, which is also very comfortable and a good place to study ~ there are also libraries, auditoriums and sundials.
