Kunming Medical University has 32 undergraduate majors, including clinical medicine, anesthesiology, medical imaging, pediatrics, optometry, stomatology, preventive medicine, food hygiene and nutrition, clinical pharmacy, pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparations, forensic medicine and medical inspection technology. Kunming Medical University is a provincial key university. Its predecessor was the Medical Department of Donglu University, which was founded in 1933. 1956 was set up independently, 198 1 became the first batch of master's degree awarding units in China, 1998 became the doctoral degree awarding unit, and 20 10 was Yunnan Medical College.
