Off-campus environment

Hainan University, located in Haidian Island, Haikou City, is the largest unit in the whole Haidian Island. The west of the school is Century Bridge, and the north gate is Baishamen Beach. The south gate is the North Campus of Hainan Normal University, and the east gate is Haikou People's Hospital.

Danzhou Campus of Hainan University is the predecessor of South China University of Tropical Agriculture. South China University of Tropical Agriculture is closely integrated with Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, focusing on the research, teaching and development of tropical agriculture. Chengxi Campus is closely connected with Haikou College of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences.
