Chengxian College of Southeast University was founded in 1998. In 2003, the current name was approved by the Ministry of Education. Located in Nanjing, it is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. Southeast University is an independent college with a brand-new school-running concept and operation mode in cultivating high-level applied talents and serving the country and social and economic development.

As of June 20 17, Chengxian College of Southeast University covers an area of1200mu and is located in Pukou Campus of Southeast University. There are 7 colleges (departments) and 30 undergraduate majors; There are more than 10000 full-time students. It is an application-oriented undergraduate college focusing on engineering.

Adhering to the century-old fine tradition of Southeast University, the school closely relies on Southeast University's rich subject resources and high-quality teaching resources, and takes the principle of "great demand for talents, great domestic influence, good employment prospects and strong support" as its major setting. The majors set are mainly engineering majors with strong social needs. In 2007, the education authorities approved our college's 17 major to be included in the second batch of enrollment in Jiangsu Province, and all majors (including directions) were included in the second batch of enrollment in 20 14, making it an independent college with the largest enrollment in China.
