What are the common emotional troubles of college students?
Common emotional troubles are: inferiority complex, anxiety, depression, irritability and emotional ups and downs.

1. Inferiority: Due to the changes in the learning environment and living environment, the status change of some college students from "excellent students" in high school to "ordinary members" on the university campus is an important reason for some college students' inferiority, and some students feel inferior because of poor family conditions or some shortcomings of their own.

Students with low self-esteem have low self-evaluation, which leads to behavior withdrawal, indecision, sentimentality, strong self-esteem and sensitivity, which seriously affects the normal development of all aspects. ?

2. Anxiety: Anxiety is a complex negative emotional phenomenon, and it is an emotional experience that people are worried and uneasy about upcoming events or situations and cannot take effective measures to prevent and solve them. Excessive anxiety makes people in a state of being at a loss, always worrying about what will happen, fidgeting, distracted and inefficient.

3. Depression: When students feel unable to face external pressure, they often have such negative emotions. Some college students feel that their future is bleak because they don't like their major, or they "see through the world of mortals" prematurely because of improper interpersonal relationship and lovelorn, which leads to depression. Their main manifestations are: depression, slow thinking, unhappiness, loss of interest, and inability to experience the happiness of life and study.

4. Irritability: The endocrine system of adolescent college students is in an unprecedented active period, and the inhibition and excitement of brain neural processes are unbalanced, with poor internal control and easy impulsiveness. Irritability is a common negative emotion among college students. Some college students are furious with excitement because of a trivial matter or a sentence, or hurt people with words or even fists.

5. Emotional ups and downs: Compared with adults, college students have obvious emotional ups and downs. It is easy to go from one extreme to the other, and emotions sometimes show the polarity of ups and downs, great joy and great anger.
