Xu Jian, a native of China, is a lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University. Bachelor of Chinese Language and Literature, Department of Chinese Studies, Sun Yat-sen University; Master of Arts, School of Foreign Languages; Doctor of English Language and Literature. From 2002 1 1 to 2003 1 1, the National Foundation for Studying Abroad (CSC) visited the English Department of Edinburgh University. From June 2008 to June 2009, he taught at Ateneo University in the Philippines.
