Huang Youguang's real identity is: China economist and academician of Australian Academy of Social Sciences.

From 1974 to 1985, he was a professor at Monash University, and from 1985, he was a chair professor at Monash University. 1980 was elected as an academician of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences. In 2007, he was awarded the highest honor of Australian Economic Association-Outstanding Scholar. From June 20 13 to April 20 19, he was the Chair Professor of Economics at Nanyang Technological University.

From August 20 19 to August 202 1, 12, he served as distinguished professor of School of Economics of Fudan University.
